Group Tastings/Tours

Reservations are required for parties of 7 or more and for birthday/bachelor[ette] parties of any size. To set up a reservation, please email kenna@hawkhavenvineyard.com. We are unable to accommodate groups who come without a reservation. In addition to making a reservation, if you will be arriving by limo or bus, please have your driver park on the grass in our additional parking area (ask one of our staff for parking instructions).

Celebratory/Events

Guests wishing to host a birthday party or other celebratory event must book a private event through kenna@hawkhavenvineyard.com. Decorations, cakes, balloons, table covers etc. are not permitted on premise without having a private event booking arranged in advance. Private events require site fees, service fees, and rentals.

Question 3

Outside Food & Beverages

In accordance with state law, alcoholic beverages not purchased at Hawk Haven Winery are never permitted anywhere on Hawk Haven property. Any outside alcohol that is brought onto the property will be confiscated and you will be asked to leave immediately. Our Barrel Room Kitchen serves cheese plates, sandwiches, and snacks on the weekends, so we ask that guests do not bring outside food and beverages (see menu here). Monday-Friday the kitchen offers cheese plates, snacks, as well as pre-packaged cheeses, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Please note that the crushpad seating is limited for parties of 6 or fewer. Larger parties may use the picnic tables in the vineyard.

Can I keep my wine tasting glass?

Souvenir glasses may be purchased for $5 (or $2 if purchased with a wine tasting).

Do you host weddings/other private events?

While we would love to be the venue for your special event, availability is extremely limited. Please visit our private events page or email kenna@hawkhavenvineyard.com to inquire about hosting your event here.

Question 6

Is Hawk Haven dog friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, guests with dogs are welcome on the patio next to the tented crushpad and the surrounding field where there are plenty of tables and chairs during the warmer months, as long as they are always leashed and cleaned up after. During the colder months when our outdoor area is not set-up, we suggest making other plans for your dogs. Thank you for your cooperation and keep sending pics of your pets at the vineyard!

Is Hawk Haven kid friendly?

Well behaved kids are always welcome on the grounds but need to be closely attended to by parents at all times. We do not have a playground or offer activities for children, so please consider bringing quiet activities to keep them entertained. Supervised children are allowed in the winery and on our tours. Anyone under the age of 21 cannot drink alcohol, even with a parent’s consent.

Is smoking permitted?

Hawk Haven is a strictly non-smoking facility. It’s bad for the vines!

Question 9

Do you offer gift certificates?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Gift certificates are available for purchase in any amount in the Hawk Haven tasting room, open daily. You can also purchase e-gift certificates online: https://www.hawkhavenvineyard.com/shop/gift-cards/. E-gift certificates will be sent to the email of your choice; to redeem, either print out the email or show it on your smartphone.

Can you ship wine to my house?

Yes, if you live in one of the states to which we are currently licensed to ship! Visit our Online Store for more information. Also check out our Grande Cru Club; a quarterly subscription of wines selected by the Winemaker and sent to your house or held for pick-up at your convenience.

Do you have a Wine Club?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have two clubs! Our Wine Club works more like a loyalty program. If you spend $200 or more in a single purchase from our tasting room, you qualify for Wine Club membership, which entitles you to special benefits. We also have a more traditional wine club known as the Grande Cru Club; members receive quarterly offerings of 2-3 wines selected by the Winemaker, to be shipped to their home or picked up at their convenience.

Question 12

Can I reserve a table for Saturdays on the Crushpad/Sangria Sundays?

All seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Seating under the crush pad tent is limited to parties of 6 or fewer. Larger parties may use our vineyard picnic tables. Email kenna@hawkhavenvineyard.com for reservation inquiries.
